Concealed Link Strands don’t use any of the aforementioned techniques to attach to the natural hair. It is a hair friendly and fuss free system which you can apply confidently knowing that it won’t have the adverse effects on the hair .
Concealed Link Strands are available in two densities: Single Plus and Double Density. Single Plus Density is a more delicate option, while Double Density provides added bulk in specific areas.
Loops and rings come pre-loaded, making application and removal quick and easy. This saves time during installation and removal while ensuring secure, reliable placement for clients.
Lab-tested through 100+ shampoo cycles, Perfectress hair retains its beauty and durability for a minimum of 12 months with proper care.
Installing a full head of lengthening perfection is an efficient 90-minute process using just six packs or 150 pre-loaded strands. Each pack contains 25 individually wrapped Concealed Link Strands extensions with PerfecTress® rings and loops already attached, allowing hairdressers to apply them straight out of the packaging.
The extensions are secured using discreet micro rings with rounded edges to prevent any cutting or damage to clients' natural hair. These low-profile rings measure just 2.5mm in outer diameter, 1.5mm inner diameter, and 3mm in height for a virtually invisible bond. Our specialized tool lets you secure the Concealed Link Strands swiftly, while removal is equally quick - under 15 minutes to take them all out cleanly without leaving residue.
During maintenance appointments, you can easily reload and reapply the same extension strands immediately by attaching new micro rings and polymer loops. This ensures a comfortable, secure bond that lasts until your next removal and reapplication. Installation and Removal
1Stick your index finger and thumb through the loop and pull the section of hair through it. Then place the natural hair to the side while holding the loop in place.
2Slide the Concealed Link Strands and Micro Link upwards into place, pull the loop through which will thread the natural hair through the Concealed Link Strands and the Micro Link at the same time.
3Grab the Micro Link with The Transformer and insert it fully and vertically into the tip. Slide the Link upwards until you feel a certain resistance and secure it with one firm squeeze.
4Complete, a smooth and soft finish. The Concealed Link Strands sits freely around the hair section and is kept in place by the Micro Link.
1Looking up close you will see that the Concealed Link Strands has a side with a small gap. This gap is made to make it easier to separate the natural hair from the Concealed Link Strands before removal. Take the first hole in the transformer and place the crimped Micro Link crosswise in it as shown. Give it a gentle squeeze to open the Micro Link.
2Remove the Micro Link and the Concealed Link Strands will slide out without any residue or damage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reuse Micro Rings?
No, you cannot reuse Micro Rings. New Micro Links must be used with each application. Reused Micro Rings have a very high chance of collapsing during removal.
How long can Concealed Link Strands be worn with each application?
We recommend to wear Concealed Link Strands no longer than 12 weeks. It will stay in for much longer but to protect the quality of the natural hair you should remove them after this period.
Can I use other Tools to secure the Concealed Link Strands with?
No, you can only crimp the Rings with the Transformer LW. The grove that it creates is what actually keeps the Rings secured in the hair. Other pliers will not work!
How many times can you reuse Concealed Link Strands hair extensions?
Concealed Link Strands can be worn for up to a year or longer. It all depends on the maintenance regime, wear and tear and the amount of times that they are removed and reinstalled.
What type of hair is used in the Concealed Link Strands hair extension?
At Perfectress we have sourced all of our hair ourselves for over 35 years. Although we will not discuss this into detail, we can reveal that we are sourcing it from the so called “highlands” from independent suppliers and sources. We do not buy or use long term stored hair or buy from unknown or unethical sources.
Can I color or perm the hair?
We do not recommend that you color our colored hair selection. If you like to color the hair we advice you to use the special “B series” from our color range. The “B” stands for “bleached”. The B series have only had one treatment which is bleaching it to a certain color level and thats it. Because it hasn’t received a recoloring treatment to unify the color within our color range, you can still add your own color to it. However, we do not recommend that you bleach it again, instead pick a color that is slightly lighter than the desired color and dye it a darker color. Please be aware that ALL chemical treatment voids warranty at all times.
How many Concealed Link Strands do I need?
Here are some estimates of the amount of Concealed Link Strands that you will need for; A full head or full lengthening takes up between 125 and 200 pieces. It varies because it will depend on how thick the natural hair is and how long you would like to make it. It is better to have some extensions left over afterwards than being a handful short for a perfect finish. You can keep those for a later time. Volumizing service; This can vary between 25 to 75 pieces. This gives generally enough extra hair for a sizable difference in thickness.
