What is PerfecTress^® Grace Tape Weft?

Grace Tape Weft is a tape-in hair extension system featuring a single volumising piece backed by dummy tape, creating a 'sandwich' application with the client's own hair in between.

We offer two header options: the Classic Header, which is transparent but may have a slight shine under light, and the Concealed Header, which minimizes shine for a more discreet, undetectable finish.

Biggest Problems with Ordinary Tape Weft

1. Adhesive residue left on the client’s hair

One of the biggest problems with ordinary Tape Weft is the adhesive residue left on the client’s hair after removal.

When Perfectress tools are used and the removal instructions are followed properly, the adhesive can be removed cleanly without leaving residue on the client’s hair.

2. Time-consuming tape replacement during maintenance

Another major problem with ordinary Tape Weft is the time required to remove the old double-sided adhesive tape from the weft and replace it with new tape during maintenance.

With Perfectress Grace Tape Weft:

No need to remove and replace the double-sided adhesive tape on the top Tape Weft with hair. The double-sided adhesive tape is semi-permanently bonded to the weft and can be reused multiple times.

For each maintenance service:

Simply use alcohol to clean the surface of the existing double-sided adhesive tape.
Only the Pre-Fab Tape on the back needs to be replaced.

Installation Guide

1Pull the extension out from the sleeve bag and remove the protective layer.

2Tape 1cm under the section line and press using the finger.

3Lift up the grace tape weft,and tape the prefab tape side by side against the top pieces.

4Use the Pressing Tool to press from left side and right side once each.

Removal Guide

1Place the removing mats under the extensions.

2Make 5–6 injections between the tape layers from the top,Swing the needle during injection.

3Remove the top tape.

4Use a tweezer to remove the Pre-Fab Tape, then ready to discard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use other removal fluids?

No, we don’t recommend to use anything other than 99% pure alcohol or Isopropyl (usually available in hardware stores). Disinfectant or rubbing alcohol is not pure enough and can contaminate the tape layers which results in weak bonds and tape deterioration.

I have fine hair, can I use Grace Tape Weft?

Grace Tape Weft are suitable for fine hair. The evenly divided tension over the top of the attachment makes Grace Tape Weft suitable for fine hair. If unsure whether it is suitable for particular cases we advise to apply one or two at the back of the head as a trial for a period of two weeks.

How long does Grace Tape Weft take?

A typical lengthening service takes around 40 minutes to apply. Adding volume takes around 20 minutes depending on the amount of Grace Tape Weft used.

How long do Grace Tape Weft last?

We guarantee that Grace Tape Weft can last up to 6 weeks, but usually last much longer. It also depends on the natural hair and scalp conditions as to whether you would decide to keep them in longer than the 6 weeks.

Can I color the Grace Tape Weft hair?

No, we do not recommend that you color the Grace Tape Weft. We do however, have a special “B series” in 6 shades especially for that purpose. These colors have only been lifted until the color level of the specific B series color. They have not been recolored so you can give the last finish to them in your own chosen color. Alternatively you can use Pure Virgin Hair to start your color from scratch. All chemical treatments however, make all warranties null and void.
