Ring and Bead systems are also known as shoelace, i-stick or tip hair extensions and are widely used. Generally these systems are not so refined in their design and usability. At Perfectress we have taken the Plugs to the next level and are now designed to be less visible, much more supportive for the natural hair and have more grip to hold securely in place.

Professionally Designed Oval-Shaped Tips to ensure secure binding

The Perfect Plug Tips are not round in diameter like the tradition designs for this system. We created an oval shaped Perfect Plug to have more surface to hold the natural hair when it is installed. The biggest problem so far with other systems are that not all the hair of the section is securely fastened causing the natural hair to loop out of the ring. This causes problems after a short period of time as the hair “loops” out of the ring above the attachment which makes it susceptible to breakage and matting.

No Glue , No Tape, No Heat, No Solvent , No Residue, No Damage

Perfect Plugs don’t use any of the aforementioned techniques to attach to the natural hair. It is a hair friendly and fuss free system which you can apply confidently knowing that it won’t have the adverse effects on the hair.

Customizable Density

To make our system even better we made two sizes of Plugs for a better and more refined installation. Small Perfect Plugs are used with the Small Rings which allows for placement in delicate areas Medium Perfect Plugs are used with the Medium Rings and gives the “look” it’s bulk that it needs.

Depending on what size you are using, a full head needs about 125 Perfect Plugs and takes under 2 hours to complete.

Installation and Removal

Installation Guide

1Take a rectangular section, no wider than a crimped Ring (+/-5mm).

2Thread the natural hair through the Ring and slide it just below the section line.

3Keep tension on the natural hair so that the Ring can move up without causing any knotting.

4Insert the Perfect Plug into the Ring but do not let it stick out of the Ring on the top.

5Squeeze firmly with the Transformer. The Ring and Perfect Plug are now secured.

6All done.

Removal Guide

1Place the crimped Ring crosswise in the hole of the Transformer and give it a gentle squeeze.

2The Ring will open and slide out easily.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reuse the Rings?

No, you cannot reuse Rings. If they are reused the chance of collapsing during removal is very high.

Can I color the hair?

We do not recommend that you color the hair again. If you really need or want to color the hair we suggest that you use colors that start with the letter “B”. B stands for “bleached” which means that we have only bleached the hair to a certain color level and haven’t recolored it to match our color range on the adaptability ring, because it has only been treated once you can still add another color. However, do not bleach again and choose a color that is lighter than the desired color.

Please NOTE: Chemical treatments of any kind void warranty at all times including “B” series.

How long can Perfect Plugs be worn for with each installation?

This all depends on how fast the hair is growing and how strong the natural hair is. On average the Perfect plugs can be worn for around 6-10 weeks at the time.

Why are there two sizes of Rings?

Rings come in two sizes because there are also two sizes of Perfect Plugs available. It is important to use the correct size in order to securely fasten the Plug into the Ring.

What about I have very fine hair?

If you are dealing with fine, britle or otherwise delicate hair that easily breaks, we do not recommend for you to wear the Perfect Plugs. If in doubt, please attach a few at the back of the head for two weeks and monitor how the hair is holding up. If the hair is not breaking and you are not experiencing an unpleasant feeling you can still wear the Perfect Plugs.

Can I use other tools to secure the Perfect Plugs with?

No, you can only crimp the Rings with the Transformer LW which is specially designed for this purpose. This creates a groove which actually keeps the Rings secure in the hair. Other pliers will not work!

Regular Colors

Regular Colors are made from Virgin Hair and received a coloring treatment with the exception of colors that start with a “B”. “B” colors are only bleached till a certain color level and have not been recolored to unify the color to our range. Therefore, they are the best option to finish the color in a shade that you want.

***B series colors means that the hair is only bleached once and that you can still color the hair according to your own needs. Always pick a color that is lighter than the aimed color. You cannot bleach the B series and warranty on all of our hair will be void if ANY chemical is used on it.

Grey Colors

Grey Colors are available for those who do not color their hair but still want to have longer or thicker hair.

Colors are mixed based on the customers own hair color. After receiving a sample we custom mix the same hair color with the same percentage of grey hair.

This is a solution for those who don’t color their grey hair but still like to have more volume that matches their own color including grey hair. Sta true to your own grey hair color is a huge advantage for hair extensions to blend because it is mimmicking the natural hair.

Custom Grey Mixed colors are available in all of our hair extension systems but are limited in lengths. Hand Tied products like the Volumizer or the Enhancer have finsihed lengths of 25cm / 10 inch while other hair extension systems can have up to 35cm / 14inch finished hair length.
