The Solution for Problems with Hair Growth on the Top and Crown Area
Perfectress Volumizers hairs are 100% Hand-tied integration pieces with a unique injection molded stretchable silicone base. Where ordinary hair extensions are not an option because the hair is too fragile or thin, the Volumizer brings the solution.
As long as there is still a hairline at the front and hair on the sides and back of the head, Volumizers are a great option.
Volumizer Product Highlights
Non-invasive
This non-invasive system gives people with fine and thinning hair on the top and crown areas the opportunity to add more hair without looking unnatural or causing discomfort. It is unique in design providing optimal blending possibilities with the natural hair.
Breathable and easy to clean
The inject moulded silicone base has large holes in the netting. This allows the Volumizer to be breathable and easier to clean as the water flow can just go through the base.
Reusable
Volumizers are easily attached without glue, heat, adhesives, sewing or braiding. This makes the Volumizer faster to apply and to remove. After removal, the Volumizer can be reinstalled immediately. The life cycle is over a year with proper care and maintenance.
Invisible
The unique way of threading the natural hair through the fixing points and the way of securing them, ensures that the Links will never stand out which makes them invisible to the eye while still allowing some movement.
Hand-tied
Volumizers are hand tied with 100% human hair.

Which Volumizer To Choose
Classic Volumizer Medium Density (HIB)
This Medium Density Volumizer has about 20% less hair than the High Density Volumizer. Ideal to add volume and length to any stage of hair loss as long as there is still a front hairline available and hair on the back and sides.
Classic Volumizer High Density (HIC)
High Density Volumizers give maximum volume and coverage on the top and crown areas. Suitable for any level of hair loss as long as there is still a front hairline and hair on the back and sides.
Parting Volumizers (HICP/C/L/R)
Parting Volumizers are ideal if there is no, or not enough, hair on the top area we have created a new design that allows more room for styling and gives the client more self-esteem and confidence. The natural skin color shows through the parting area and looks very natural, even up close.
Volumizers with Partings are available in left, center and right hand partings.
Please also note that the parting is extended to the edge of the front base, the design purpose is to make front parting area more invisible and natural.
Product Usage / Application
Wearing time and Maintenance
Volumizers should be serviced approximately every 5 to 6 weeks depending on the hair growth and maintenance. We recommend to have a check up service after 3 weeks by your Certified stylist in order to check the Volumizers performance and to re-thread any hair that has gone back under the net.
After 6 weeks the Volumizer must be removed and refitted with new Links.
In total the Volumizers can be reused for one year or longer all depending on individual maintenance and wearing circumstances.
It is important to do your daily maintenance in order to get the most out of wearing the Volumizer. Each Volumizer comes with instructions and recommendations on how to maintain and care for it.

Online Education

Installation Guide
1Make a middle parting, fold the Volumizer length ways in half and place the Volumizer one or two fingers width away from the front hairline and secure with clips.
2Start with the first fixing point on the front. Insert the Crochet Hook into the fixing hole and come back out through the hole in front, making sure that the hook has an open lid when inserting.
3Whilst holding the natural hair down with your left hand, push back the top layer of hair with the back of the Crochet Hook.
4Now you can hook a section of natural hair without catching any hair from other sections.
5This is important because you want to be able to thread the natural hair through the Volumizer holes without catching fixed sections.
6After successfully retrieving the Crochet Hook slide the Connection Point with your index finger onto the strand of natural hair while it is pulled through halfway.
7With the Transformer secure the Connection Point by sliding it against the fixing hole but without any real tension. Crimp the Connection Point firmly and only once.
8Work your way to the back and then do the other side. Continue securing the rest of the fixing points. The top rows are directed backwards and the sides downwards.
9After having fixed all connection points start threading the natural hair through the Volumizer holes. Work from the top downwards in vertical sections. Brush frequently to help pull the hair through. Hold down the Volumizer to avoid pulling while you do this.
10Done!
Removal Guide
1Place the link crosswise in the first transformer hole.
2Open the link with one gentle squeeze. Done, the link slides out easily.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reuse the Links?
No, you cannot reuse Links. If they are reused the chance of collapsing during removal is very high.
Can I color the Volumizer hair?
We do not recommend that you color the hair again. If you really need or want to color the hair we suggest that you use colors that start with the letter “B”. The “B” stands for “bleached” which means that we have only bleached the hair to a certain color level and haven’t recolored it to match our color range on the adaptability ring. Because it has only been treated once you can still add another color. However, do not bleach again and choose a color that is lighter than the desired color. Please NOTE: Chemical treatments of ANY kind void warranty at all times including “B” series.
Coloring regrowth
This usually coincides with the 4-6 weeks reapplication of the Volumizer. Although it is possible to color the natural hair while wearing, it will be harder to rinse out all the coloring residue. Use water based peroxide to thin the color down for better penetration.
How long can Volumizers be worn for with each installation?
This all depends on how fast the hair is growing and how strong the natural hair is. On average the Volumizer can be worn for around 4-6 weeks at the time.
What if I want to change my hair color?
If you like to change your hair color we recommend to buy a new Volumizer in the desired color. Color the natural hair first and then apply a new Volumizer. Keep the old Volumizer in case you change your mind and want to go back to the original color down the road.
Can I use my regular styling equipment at home?
Yes, you can still use your own styling tools at home. Just keep in mind not to put too much pulling forces while styling. Always support the base of the Volumizer while brushing. Curling wands and rollers are a good tool to create texture as they don’t apply any pulling force on the Volumizer.
Can I use other tools to secure the Links with?
No, you can only crimp the Links with the Transformer LW which is specially designed for this purpose. This creates a groove which actually keeps the Link secured in the hair. Other pliers will not work!
What type of hair is used?
At Perfectress we have sourced all of our hair ourselves for over 35 years. Although we will not discuss this in detail, we can reveal that we are sourcing our hair from the so called “highlands” from independent suppliers and sources. We do not buy or use long term stored hair or buy from unknown or unethical sources

Regular Colors
Regular Colors are made from Virgin Hair and received a coloring treatment with the exception of colors that start with a “B”. “B” colors are only bleached till a certain color level and have not been recolored to unify the color to our range. Therefore, they are the best option to finish the color in a shade that you want.
