Tape Wefts hair have gained rapid popularity for their simplicity and effectiveness. These extensions provide a fast and convenient way to enhance natural hair by adding volume and length.
Expertly crafted with versatility in mind, Perfectress® Tape Wefts are available in both machine-made and hand-tied options to suit your preference. Our machine-made Tape Wefts further offer additional customization with both coloured header and transparent header designs, allowing for perfect concealment regardless of natural hair colour and styling needs.
Featuring an ultra-slim header depth of just 0.5cm, these wefts sit flush against the scalp for a natural look that remains virtually undetectable.
Our exclusive formula bonding material represents years of research and development, resulting in a secure attachment that withstands daily styling, washing, and environmental factors. This proprietary bonding technology ensures your extensions remain firmly in place for more than a year with proper maintenance.
Each Perfectress® Tape Weft is crafted with premium Remy hair, ensuring all cuticles remain intact and aligned in their natural direction. This meticulous attention to quality prevents tangling and matting, while preserving the hair's natural shine and movement.
The natural-coloured roots of Perfectress® Tape Wefts are thoughtfully designed to create an undetectable transition from scalp to extension. Extension Root is coloured to mimic the natural gradient effect of hair growing from the scalp, ensuring that even upon close inspection, the extensions blend perfectly with the client's natural hair colour.
PerfecTress® Tape Wefts can be comfortably worn for up to 6 weeks. However, they can remain in the hair for longer periods. We recommend removing and reapplying the Tape Wefts every 6 weeks, aligning with color touch-ups and regular maintenance of the natural hair.
The installation time for a full lengthening service is under 45 minutes. On average, a full head requires 6 to 8 packs, with each pack containing 8 Tapes or 4 sandwiched Tapes.
Our specially designed Tape Removal Tool allows for precise injection of Isopropyl between the two tape layers, facilitating easy removal. Removing a full lengthening service takes up to 20 minutes.
After removal using Isopropyl or 99% alcohol, simply let the Tape Weft dry and apply a new Pre-Cut Tape directly over the factory-fitted tape. During each reinstallation, you only need to re-tape one side of the tape sandwich, alternating sides with each weft reinstallation.
To get started, our comprehensive Starter Kit provides you with all the necessary tools and system samples to become proficient in working with Tape Weft. It offers hands-on experience to help you understand and master the application techniques.
Our convenient online training program allows you to enhance your skills and knowledge in Tape Weft application. While in-salon trainings may not be available in all countries, our Starter Kit includes a USB stick with a training video to guide you through the process.

Installation and Removal
1Place the Tape Weft 3-4mm below the section line.
2Separate with a pintail comb and fold up. Then place the second tape against the the first Tape Weft.
3Use the Pressing Tool to squeeze all air out from between the tape layers.
1Make 5-6 injections between the tape layers.
2The Isopropyl makes the tape temporarily non-sticky and can be peeled away easily.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use other removal fluids?
No, we don’t recommend to use anything other than 99% pure alcohol or Isopropyl (usually available in hardware stores). Disinfectant or rubbing alcohol is not pure enough and can contaminate the tape layers which results in weak bonds and tape deterioration.
I have fine hair, can I use Tape Weft?
Tape Wefts are suitable for fine hair. The evenly divided tension over the top of the attachment makes Tape Wefts suitable for fine hair. If unsure whether it is suitable for particular cases we advise to apply one or two at the back of the head as a trial for a period of two weeks.
How long does Tape Weft take?
A typical lengthening service takes around 40 minutes to apply. Adding volume takes around 20 minutes depending on the amount of Tape Wefts used.
How long do Tape Wefts last?
We guarantee that Tape Wefts can last up to 6 weeks, but usually last much longer. It also depends on the natural hair and scalp conditions as to whether you would decide to keep them in longer than the 6 weeks.
Can I color the Tape weft hair?
No, we do not recommend that you color the Tape Wefts. We do however, have a special “B series” in 6 shades especially for that purpose. These colors have only been lifted until the color level of the specific B series color. They have not been recolored so you can give the last finish to them in your own chosen color. Alternatively you can use Pure Virgin Hair to start your color from scratch. All chemical treatments however, make all warranties null and void.

Regular Colors are made from Virgin Hair and received a coloring treatment with the exception of colors that start with a “B”. “B” colors are only bleached till a certain color level and have not been recolored to unify the color to our range. Therefore, they are the best option to finish the color in a shade that you want.
